Dr. Sean Salazar, D.C.
Dr. Sean Salazar is a chiropractor who strives to help his patients reach their optimal health and well-being through the use of chiropractic care. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biopsychology from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska as well as a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic – West in San Jose, California.
While at Palmer West, Dr. Salazar received extensive training in the art and science of chiropractic from some of the best minds in the profession. As a student, he took advantage of the opportunity to join the school’s esteemed Sports Council in which he gained valuable hands-on experience in the evaluation and management of sports injuries. He also learned many keys to helping athletes unlock their peak performance. During his time as a member of the Palmer West Sports Council, Dr. Salazar had the privilege of getting to work with athletes at many major sporting events such as the Sea Otter Classic in Monterrey, California and the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawai’i.
In addition to helping athletes recover and achieve optimal performance, Dr. Salazar also specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of many spine-related conditions that arise occupational demands and life in general. These conditions include neck pain, back pain, headaches, bulged discs, sciatica, and whiplash. He is also very skilled in the evaluation and management of conditions of the extremities such as rotator cuff injuries, shoulder impingement, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, IT band syndrome, piriformis syndrome, and plantar fasciitis.
Dr. Salazar’s focus when treating his patients is to provide comfortable, effective care with treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. He takes a comprehensive approach to treatment, which may include chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue therapy, therapeutic exercises, physiotherapy modalities, nutrition counseling, and lifestyle advice. His goal for treatment is not only to provide his patients with pain relief but also to educate his patients and inspire them to make healthier lifestyle choices.
When Dr. Salazar is not treating patients, you can find him enjoying the great outdoors, sampling new cuisines at local festivals, or trying to whittle down his golf score. He also enjoys traveling with his girlfriend and their dog and frequently attends a multitude of seminars in an effort to expand his knowledge to provide the best standard of care for his patients.
